Privacy Policy

New Beginnings will endeavour to keep your personal details private and secure. We will not sell or share your personal details with third parties except in so far as is strictly necessary to process your order.

From time to time we may contact you with details of our special offers. If you do not wish to receive this information please email us on info@newbeginningsbabyshop.co.uk to have your name removed from our mailing list.

Payment

All prices on this site include VAT at the appropriate rate. Our VAT registration number is 800 4906 62.

All goods sold by New Beginnings remain the property of New Beginnings until full payment has been received. Goods will only be despatched once full payment has cleared.

Processing and Delivery

Whilst every care is taken to ensure accuracy, specifications can be subject to change without notice. In the event of such a change we will advise you of this and offer you the option to withdraw your order or to select an alternative product.

We aim to fulfil orders within 7 working days, wherever possible. However, some larger items, such as prams or furniture, may have a lead time from our suppliers of between 4-6 weeks.

In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order within the normal delivery period, we will contact you as soon as this is known and offer you the option to withdraw your order or to select an alternative product. Should an item be unavailable, we will contact you as soon as this is known and, in these circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Weekday delivery to addresses within the UK is charged at £2.95 for total order values under £100 and is free for orders of £100 and over.

If necessary, Saturday delivery or delivery outside the UK can be arranged but will be charged at cost, which will be advised before your order is despatched.

We regret that overseas deliveries currently cannot be accommodated.

Returns Policy

All goods must be inspected by you upon receipt and any damage in transit must be notified to us within 48 hours of receipt. No claims for damage in transit will be considered after this period. We will arrange for collection and offer you the choice of a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you. In circumstances where the packaging is clearly damaged upon arrival, it would be helpful to us in resolving the problem if, when signing to accept delivery, you could write 'Box Damaged' on the delivery record.

Where goods are found to be faulty upon receipt, we will offer you the choice of a replacement or a refund and arrange collection at no extra cost to you.

Where goods fail within the guarantee period, we will require proof of purchase from you. We will arrange for collection and if, on inspection, the fault is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we will arrange repair (or replacement if the goods cannot be repaired). If, however, the fault is found to be due to normal wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage, we will provide a quote for rectifying the problem and you will be responsible for any carriage charges.

If you receive your order in good condition but you consider any item to be unsuitable, you may return it for a full refund provided that you do so within 14 days of receipt and the item is in its original, saleable condition and in its original packaging. In these circumstances you will be responsible for meeting the full cost of return.

IMPORTANT - we regret that we cannot offer refunds on mattresses, nappy products or assembled furniture, unless faulty.
